Description
A charming antique teacup and saucer with grapes and copper luster/lustre embellishment - Chelsea Grape/Grandmother's Ware pattern - England, Staffordshire 1845
There is a translucent blue glaze showing on both pieces.
Under the lustre, you can see the decoration was originally blue.
This is a charming pattern and the cup and saucer are original. The cup measures 3 3/4" in diameter and 2 3/4" deep.
The saucer is 5 3/4" in diameter. The set is produced by Edward Walley, as seen by the mark under the saucer.
Both the cup and saucer are in excellent, original condition: No chips, stains or repairs. Guaranteed authentic.
